Nanban has been well-received by the Censor Board officials and they have certified it with a clean U.
Trade sources say that Nanban has been certified during the fag end of 2011. This means, the film will qualify for 2011 awards. Nanban is from director Shankar who has tried out a remake for the first time in his successful career. It is the remake of the Hindi movie 3 Idiots.
Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana, Sathyaraj, SJ Suryah and others play vital roles in Naban. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music for this film.
